Nature Explorer Camps set for summer at Yellow Smoke Park; accepting registrations
The Nature Center at Yellow Smoke Park will conduct its annual summer Nature Explorer Camps for students in preschool through fifth grade.
The camps are designed to help children experience nature close up.
They will be able to learn about nature through hikes, games, crafts, stories and other hands-on activities.
Camps include:
Preschoolers ages 4 & 5 are June 10 & 11th, 9:00 – 12:00, and also July 13 & 14.Cost is $20 and they must pre-register at the number below.
Those going into 1st thru 3rd are $25 and those dates are: June 23 & 24, July 15 & 16, and July 29 & 30 from 9:00 a.m – 1:00 p.m. Must pre-register at the number below.
Those going into 4-6th grade dates are July 8 & 9 or July 22 & 23, from 9 – 1 and that cost is also $25. Must pre-register at the number below.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is required. Scholarships are available, one per family.
All must call asap to pre-register at the Conservation Office 263-2748 because classroom size is limited.
