New Tree House at Yellow Smoke
Thanks to the "Friends Of Yellow Smoke" A Tree House is the new addition to Yellow Smoke Parks Campground, on Saturday May 16th Dozens of Volunteers helped construct the $25.000 Tree House that was all locally donated. The unique Tree House is based on a 500 year old eucalyptas tree that was harvested from dead trees in the hills of California.
The Tree House was trucked from California by Krajicek Trucking at no charge. Wal-Mart employees & Hipner Lawn Care did some landscaping around the shower house with flower's and plants donated by Phil's Landscaping and helped fill in sand around the Tree House. Demey Electric installed new ceiling fans in the restrooms. A specisl thanks goes to Gary & LuAnn Volkert of
Volkert Sales in Denison for all the hard work they did in getting this tree house, the donations, the volunteers, etc... Click on the link below for pictures.
